Haq Storyline

Inspired by the famous Supreme Court decision in Mohammad Ahmed Khan vs. Shah Bano Begum, Haq is the story of a woman who stands up for her rights and justice.

In the story, Shazia Bano takes her husband, Abbas, to court after he abandons her and their children. The case gradually becomes a larger issue involving religion, women’s rights, and justice.
