Tina Datta was born in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, on November 27, 1986.
Tina Datta is the child of Hindu parents. Debraj Datta is the sister’s brother.
Tina Datta attended St. Paul’s Boarding And Day School in Kolkata and the Meghmala Roy Education Center in Behala, Kolkata, for her academic training. She received her diploma from Kolkata’s University of Calcutta.
CAREER:
In 1992, she made her acting debut while still a young artist in the Sister Nivedita TV series. She also had numerous appearances in Bengali children’s movies, including Pita Mata Santan (1997) and Dus Number Bari (1997). She performed as an actor in her debut Bengali film, Chokher Bali, in 2003 and her first Bollywood film, Parineeta, in 2005.
With her performance of Ichha Bharti Singh Bundela in the Colors TV series Uttaran, Tina made her acting debut on television in 2009. In addition, she has made appearances in several reality TV programs, including Comedy Circus (2009), Comedy Nights with Kapil (2013), Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 7 (2014), Comedy Classes (2015), Comedy Nights Bachao (2016), and others.
She played for the Ahmedabad Express team in Seasons 1 and 2 of the real sports entertainment TV show Box Cricket League in 2014 and 2016, respectively.
She acted as Shani’s wife, Dhamini, in her first mythological TV series, Shani, which she completed in 2017.
The Producers Guild Film Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2010, the Kalakar Award for Best New Face (Female) in 2010, the 16th Lion Gold Award for Best Actress in 2010, the All India Achiever’s Award for Excellence in Acting in 2011 and the Golden Petal Award for Most Janbaaz Personality in 2013 are just a few of the accolades Tina Datta has won for her acting.
She is currently residing in House 2022 of “Bigg Boss 16.”
