In Madhya Pradesh, the third phase trial of the Corona vaccine Covaxin, which is being prepared by Bharat Biotech in capital Bhopal, has begun today. Seven volunteers were vaccinated on the first day of the clinical trial of corona vaccine at the People’s Medical College in the capital today.
On the first day, the people who were planted with covaxin included a teacher, a business couple and an elderly volunteer. In the clinical trial of the vaccine, they were given full counselling before giving the dose to the volunteers and full vaccine related information was given. With this, the entire health of the volunteers was also tested.
The health of the volunteer will be monitored continuously after the first dose of the vaccine is installed. The health of the volunteer will be tested after a week.
Rajesh Kapoor, vice chancellor of the People’s Medical College, says that it is a privilege for us to trial the corona vaccine. He said the manufacture of corona vaccine will provide relief to all. He said that so far, many volunteers have come forward for trial and full care is being taken in the clinical trial of the vaccine.
A number of social workers have voluntarily come forward and registered their registration for the trial of the covaxin prepared by Bharat Biotech. 25 cities in the country have been selected for the third phase trial of covaxin with the partnership of Indian Council of Medical Research, including capital Bhopal.
