Ahsaas Channa is an Indian actress who started working in Bollywood films as a child actor. She has appeared in many Indian serials, movies, web series, TV commercials and Print Shoots. She recently appeared in the second season of the Netflix web show Mismatched.
EARLY LIFE
Ahsaas was born on 5 August 1999 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, into a Punjabi Sikh family. Her family was already connected with the acting field. Iqbal Singh Channa is a Punjabi Film producer, and her mother, Kulbir Kaur Balderson, is a television actress. She often danced to Bollywood songs in front of the mirror in her childhood. She has done her schooling at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan AH Wadia High School, Mumbai.
CAREER
She gave her first audition at the age of just 4 years and got the role of “Rohan”, Sushmita Sen’s son, in the film “Vaastu Shastra” in 2004. After that, she played the role of “Arjun Saran” in Shah Rukh Khan’s starred film “Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna” in 2006 and the role of “Ashu” in the movie “MY Friend Ganesha”. She has also made her appearance in many films like “Phoonk” in 2008, “Bommayi”, “Love Kaa Taddka” in 2009, “Phoonk 2” in 2010, and “340” in 2013.
Ahsaas made her Telugu film debut with the film “Marrichettu” and her Tamil debut with “Appavin Meesai” in 2017. She made her debut in 2008 in the TV Serial “Kasamh Se”, in which she played the role of young “Ganga”. After this, she worked in “Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon”, “Best of Luck Nikki”, “Aadha Full”, and many more. She has also done many web series like “Girls Hostel”, “Hotel Daze”, “The Interns”, “Clutch”, “Jugaadistan”, and “Kota Factory”. She recently appeared in the Netflix web series “Mismatched 2”.
