Fast bowler Navdeep Saini is all set to become India’s 299th Test cricketer. He’s been included in the playing XI for the third Test against Australia.
Born in Karnal,Haryana Navdeep Saini made his debut in international cricket in August last year and has played seven ODIs and ten T20 internationals so far.
He along with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj will take over the fast bowling department.
Saini played a practice match against Australia A in Sydney in which he took three wickets.
Gill will open up the innings with Rohit Sharma in Sydney. Gill secured his placed in the playing XI in place of out-of-form Mayank Agarwal.
