South superstar Ram Charan recently attended the music launch event for his upcoming film, ‘Peddi’, in Bhopal. During the event, he was asked to describe various Indian cricketers in just a few words. Amidst the conversation, he mistakenly associated fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah with football. A video of the incident soon went viral on social media.

Fake Post Goes Viral
A fake post claiming to be from Bumrah about Ram Charan also went viral on social media. The viral post read: “No worries, Yash Bhai; I am a huge fan of yours… Waiting for ‘Toxic’.” However, it later became clear that this post was entirely fake and doctored. Bumrah had not shared any such Story. Many users were sharing it merely as a joke or a meme.
During the event, Ram Charan had described Sachin Tendulkar as a “legendary journey,” Mahendra Singh Dhoni as “cool,” Rohit Sharma as “everyone’s favorite,” and Virat Kohli as “fire.” In the film ‘Peddi’, Ram Charan will be seen in the lead role alongside Janhvi Kapoor, while the music has been composed by A. R. Rahman. The film is scheduled for release on June 4th.
