Once again, an incident of gunfire has been reported near Kapil Sharma’s cafe in the city of Surrey, Canada. This time, the shooting targeted a restaurant located close to the cafe. It is reported that this marks the fourth time this specific area has been targeted. Following the incident, a post surfaced on social media in which an individual, claiming allegiance to the Lawrence Gang, issued a threat to Kapil Sharma.
The post said this was only a warning, and next time the targets could be his cafe and his Mumbai home. The incident created panic in the area, and police quickly started an investigation. CCTV footage nearby is being checked, but Kapil Sharma has not made any official statement yet.
Previous Attacks
This is not the first time Kapil Sharma’s cafe has been targeted. In 2025, there were three separate shooting incidents at the same place. The first happened just days after the cafe opened, when shots were fired at the windows. Two more incidents took place in August and October.
Reports suggest that the Lawrence Gang may be behind these attacks. It is believed that Kapil Sharma’s connection with Salman Khan is the reason. Since the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, the gang has been threatening Salman Khan and people linked to him.
