A man walked about 700 km to Mumbai to meet his favorite star, Akshay Kumar. On February 17, 2026, he set out from his home barefoot, carrying the Tricolor, and reached Mumbai in just 18 days.
Even after arriving in Mumbai, he did not get the opportunity to meet Akshay Kumar for several days; however, he did not lose heart and continued to persevere. He continued to visit the area outside the actor’s residence repeatedly. He persisted in his efforts while staying in Mumbai for nearly a month; during this time, he slept on sidewalks and at railway stations, incurring expenses of approximately ₹14,000.
Finally, on April 8, his perseverance paid off. Akshay Kumar invited him in, and the two met that morning.
