Costao Storyline
Talking about the plot of the film, its story is based on a true incident. The story of the film is of Goa in 1991, where an honest customs officer named Costao Fernandes exposes a big smuggling network. The names of many big leaders and rich people are also involved in this racket. One day when Costao goes to catch the smugglers, the situation worsens so much that he has to shoot a smuggler to save his life. Unfortunately, that smuggler turns out to be a relative of a big leader. After this, Costao is accused of murder and questions are raised on his honesty. The entire system turns against him, but he does not give up. The film shows how Costao fights a long battle alone for truth and justice. During this time he has to face humiliation, fear and loneliness, but he never gives up. Ultimately the Supreme Court declares him innocent and his truth wins.
