The story follows Aswathy, a doctoral student, on an in-depth exploration of the rich folklore and traditions of North Malabar. During her journey, she uncovers the story of Kannaperuvannan, who performs the Thira ritual. This ritual has a very deep cultural and spiritual significance for his village.
Kannaperuvannan is entrusted with an important responsibility: to save his village from a terrible curse that is darkening the lives of the people there.Aswathy is moved by Kannaperuvannan’s struggle, his dedication and the depth of the traditional ritual he performs.
