Recently, in an interview, the casting director of the movie, Mukesh Chhabra, told that the most difficulties were faced for the casting of Laxman in the film Ramayan. Mukesh Chhabra was looking for an actor for the film, whose mere glance would make one guess that he is in love with Lord Ram and follows him.

Mukesh Chhabra further says, the most auditions and names that came out were of Laxman. The last one that was cast was of Laxman.
