Storyline – Scoop is a character drama that follows the journey of Jagruti Pathak, an aspiring crime journalist. The story was inspired by Jigna Vora’s book “Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison,” which describes the author’s time spent in prison.
Her life comes crumbling down around her when she is arrested and accused with the brutal murder of a fellow journalist named Jaideb Sen, and she is subsequently placed in the same prison cell as the people she used to report on.
Among the other individuals who have been charged is the infamous Chhota Rajan, who is known for being a keen shooter and a bookie. During the time that she is detained awaiting a trial, the truth is carefully covered up.
