Advani was born in Bombay, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of Jagdeep Advani, a Sindhi Hindu Businessman & Genevieve Jaffrey, a teacher. Initially, she had her name as Alia Advani. She did her schooling at The Cathedral and John Connon School. Later, she went to Jai Hind College & got graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications.

Career

Kiara began her acting career in 2014 with the comedy film Fugly. The film underperformed. After 2 years, she returned and appeared in the movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. It’s a biopic of the cricketer MS Dhoni. She also expanded to Telugu Films such as Bharat Ane Nenu, Vinaya Vidheya Rama, Kalank, etc.

She rose to prominence when she starred in a romantic drama movie named Kabir Singh. In this movie, she starred with Shahid Kapoor. She also performed in ‘Good Newwz.’ For her performance in Good Newwz, she won IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actress. She also appeared in a Netflix series, Guilty. In 2021, she featured in Shershaah with Siddharth Malhotra.
