Early life:
Sivaji Rao Gaekwad was born as the younger sibling of four to a Maratha kunbi family in Mysore. He was named after king Shivaji of the Maratha empire, his father being a police constable and his mother a Housewife.
Education;
Young Rajinikanth was both studious and mischievous. After joining RAMAKRISHNA MATH, a Hindu monastery, he was taught Vedas, tradition, and history which made him inclined to spirituality.
He enacted in a lot of plays during his time in Acharya Pathasala Public School from where he finished his pre-university courses.
Film career:
Rajnikanth made his first debut in Apoora Raaganal directed by K.Balanchander.It received three national film awards. He went on to do more films including remakes like Billa, Thee, and Mr. Bharath.
He subsequently started acting in Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada. His film Sivaji is considered to be one of the top ten films at the United Kingdom and south Africa box office.
