The country and the world are suffering from covid-19 virus. The daily figures of infection are getting up-down, but there is no significant relief. India's total cases have increased to 94,31,692 with 38,772 new cases of corona infection in the country in the last 24 hours. With 443 new deaths, the death toll has gone up to 1,37,139.
The total active cases of corona in the country are at 4,46,952. In the last 24 hours 45,333 patients got recovered.
The concern among the growing corona cases in the country is that the decline in the number of healthy people as compared to new cases has registered a marginal decline in the recovery rate which has now gone up to 93.61 per cent.

The rate of active cases in the country remains at 4.90 per cent while the mortality rate is also at just 1.46 per cent. In the case of corona infection, India ranks second after the US worldwide.The total number of infections in the US has gone up to about 1.28 crore. India, however, is still trailing by 38.86 lakh cases from the US.
