About – Jawed Sheikh, who was born in Rawalpindi, had his acting debut in the Pakistani film Dhamaka, which was premiered in Lollywood on December 14, 1974. The film was written by the Pakistani writer Ibn-e-Safi. He appeared in over a hundred films in several languages including Urdu, Sinhala, and Punjabi.
In addition to that, he has made appearances in a great number of television serials that have been shown on channels such as PTV, Hum TV, Geo Entertainment, and A-Plus. Mushkil, which was initially released in 1995, was his first picture as a director. Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa was his directorial debut in 2002, and he also appeared in the film as a supporting actor.
It was in 2005 when he made the transition to acting in Bollywood films, and he made appearances in movies such as Shikhar (2005) and Jaan-E-Mann (2005). (2006). In 2007, he had roles in the films Namaste London and Om Shanti Om, as well as in the Pakistani movie Mein Ek Din Laut Kay Aaoon Ga.
In the film Jannat, which was released in 2008, he had a supporting role. His most recent work as a filmmaker was the lavish production Khulay Aasman Ke Neechay, which was shot in four different countries (Pakistan, India, United Arab Emirates and Australia). The film’s poor performance at the box office led to a total loss of Rs. 80 million for the producing company.
