Storyline – Following the events of “Waar,” this is the continuation of the story of Major Mujtaba Rizvi (Shaan) (2013).

Production – In May of 2015, it was disclosed that Hassan Rana had written the script for the sequel film and would direct it. He would also be returning to reprise his previous role in the film. Ayesha Omer would be a new addition to the cast, along with newcomers Agha Haris Durrani, Bilal Ashraf, and Aleeze Nasser. In addition to those roles, Waqas Rana was going to be the film’s producer and director of photography, and he disclosed that the film would also have appearances from four actors from other countries.
In addition to those countries, production will take place in Russia, Yugoslavia, the United Kingdom, and Turkey. The director of the prequel, Bilal Lashari, expressed interest in returning for the sequel; however, due to scheduling issues, he was unable to participate.
