Actually, the case is of the Jambukeshwar temple located at Thiruvanaikaval in Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu, during the excavation, a copper matka was found at a depth of 7 feet, 505 gold coins weighing 1.71 kg were found in it.
News agency ANI has shared pictures of gold coins. In which it can be seen that gold coins are kept inside a copper vessel. The temple administration said that there is something written in Arabic language on these coins.
According to the temple administration, excavation work was going on in the Jambukeshwar temple, then an urn was shown. When you opened it, you found gold coins in it. As soon as the temple administration got information about this, they immediately informed the police.
The police reached the spot, took the pitcher in its possession, the gold coins found in the pitcher have some written on them in Arabic language, at the moment the price of the coins has not been disclosed.
The official said that out of 505 coins, 504 coins are of similar size, while another coin is bigger than the rest. These coins are said to be 1000 to 1200 years old, their estimated value has been estimated at around 68 lakh rupees.
