Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s cook Dipesh Sawant has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in an investigation into the drugs case on Saturday. Sawant was called by the agenda for questioning on Saturday and recorded the statement
On Saturday, Rhea Chakraborty‘s brother Showik and Sushant’s home manager Samuel Miranda were sent to NCB custody till 9 September in the Shushant Singh death case. Now the agency will interrogate Riya Chakraborty and Shouvik face to face.
Earlier, both were presented in a court in Mumbai by the Narcotics Control Bureau this morning. A five-day custody of both of them was demanded by NCB. Which the court has accepted. An alleged drug dealer Kaizan Ibrahim was also produced in court by the NCB with a 5-day custody of both.
Ibrahim is also being questioned in this case. According to NCB sources, Shouvik and Miranda used to take drugs from Ibrahim and Zaid through Abdul Basit. Both Zaid and Basit are in NCB custody. According to sources, the price of these drugs was paid through Google Pay. Miranda and Shouvik were arrested by the NCB on Friday. The NCB is investigating the drugs connection in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
Explain that besides the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau are also investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Sushant was found dead on 14 June at a Mumbai residence. The Mumbai Police claimed that the actor had committed suicide. After this, in July, Sushant’s family had accused Rhea Chakraborty and her family of abetting suicide.
