EARLY LIFE :
Surbhi Chandna was born on 11 September 1989 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. and brought up in Mumbai in a Punjabi family.
She completed her higher education at the Atharva Institute of Management Sciences.
Surbhi Chandna made her television debut in 2009 with a cameo in Sony SAB’s longest-running sitcom, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. She played the guest role of Suzanne in Star Plus’s show Ek Nanad Ki Khushiyon Ki Chaabi Meri Bhabhi after a four-year break.
She portrays the deaf and mute Haya in Zee TV’s serial Qubool Hai from 2014 to 2015. In 2015, she played Aamna Khan in her debut Bollywood film, Bobby Jasoos, alongside Vidya Balan. Chandna portrayed Annika Oberoi in Star Plus’s Ishqbaaaz from 2016 to 2018. She received multiple prizes for her performance, including the Indian Television Academy Award, Asian Viewers Television Award, Gold Award, and Lions Gold Award. She also appeared in the Ishqbaaaz spin-off Dil Boley Oberoi in 2017.
Surbhi Chandna played Dr. Ishani Arora in Star Plus’s Sanjivani from 2019 to 2020. From 2020 to 2021, she played Bani Singhania on Colors TV’s Naagin, opposite Sharad Malhotra, as Aadi Naagin. In 2021, she made her debut in a music video for Bepanah Pyaar opposite Sharad Malhotra. She made her debut as a host on Hunarbaaz in 2022, replacing Bharti Singh. Chandna was named the fourth most desirable woman on television by The Times in 2020.
Surbhi Chandna and Dheeraj Dhoopar will star in Saurabh Tewari’s show titled ‘Sherdil Shergill.’ The program is about the coming-of-age narrative of Manmeet Shergill, an unconventional yet stubborn teenager who makes strange decisions that impact her life forever. She is young and ambitious and wishes to establish herself in the male-dominated area of architecture. Manmeet accidentally met with a carefree young lad named Rajkumar Yadav, which led to a beautiful love tale. Surbhi Chandna will portray the strong character of Manmeet, while television star Dheeraj Dhoopar will play Rajkumar. Surbhi Chandna discusses her character in an interview and says, “I have done a variety of parts throughout my career, and I’m delighted to return with a program that has the perfect type of theme for our audience while still being fun.” She adds, ” I am excited to collaborate with Colors TV and Dheeraj again.”
She was ranked 16th in the Sexiest Asian Women by Eastern Eye list.
PERSONAL LIFE :
Surbhi Chandna is unmarried but in a relationship with Karan Sharma. If sources are to be believed, the duo has been dating for more than eight years.
