Shaheer Sheikh is an Indian Television actor who primarily works in daily soaps and web series. He gained immense popularity through his role of Prince Arjuna in the 2013 hit TV series Mahabharat.
Early Life-
Shaheer was born in Bhaderwahvalley, Jammu, on 26th March 1984, and completed his schooling at Little Flower valley school in Udhampur. He holds a degree in Bachelors of Law (B.A. LLB) and worked in a few firms as a lawyer before eventually finding his path toward acting.
Debut and breakthrough-
He debuted with Disney’s 2009 sitcom Kya Mast Hai Life as Vir Mehra but gained acclaim after playing the lead role of Anant Bajpai in Star Plus’ coming-of-age show Navya-Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal. He also featured in Jhansi ki Rani and Best of Luck Nikki.

Role of Arjuna and Consequent Success-
Shaheer’s career graph saw a steep rise when he starred as Rajkumar Arjuna in the 2013 Siddharth Kumar Tewary-produced iconic show Mahabharat. Not only in India, but people from all around the world also started recognizing him as a character and continue to do so.
Due to his immense popularity in Mahabharat, he gained a massive population of fans in Indonesia and for 2 years, he shifted there and featured in a few projects and reality shows along with a movie, Turis Romantic.
Return to India and further shows-
Sheikh came back to India in 2016 after signing another show, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi with Sony Entertainment Television, and his role as Dev Dixit got widely popular, especially amongst the youth. He went on to portray the role of Shehzaade Salim(Jahangir) in Daastaan-e-Mohabbat Salim Anarkali.
In 2019, he signed up for Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, the spin-off of the longest-running show on Indian Television, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
