Sarah Gray Rafferty is an American actress who was born on December 6, 1972. Her most well-known role is that of Donna Paulsen on the USA Network courtroom thriller Suits.
EARLY LIFE
Rafferty grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut, as the youngest among four girls in the Riverside area. She attributes her love of the arts to her mom, Mary Lee Rafferty, who is the Chairperson of the English Department at Convent of the Sacred Heart, and her father, Michael Griffin Rafferty Jr., who has two successful professions in finance and oil painting. Maura, Ann, and Constance are her sisters.
Rafferty completed her education at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, in 1989. After graduating from Hamilton College a magna cum laude in 1993, she continued her education at the Yale School of Drama where she earned a Master of Fine Arts. She majored in both English and theatre while there and spent her junior year studying theatre abroad in the United Kingdom and at the University of Oxford.
PERSONAL LIFE
Rafferty’s spouse is Aleksanteri Olli-Pekka Seppälä, an American of Finnish heritage who works as a stock research analyst at Lazard Frères & Company’s asset management branch. They married on June 23, 2001, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Greenwich, Connecticut, and they had 2 daughters, Oona Gray and Iris Friday.
She has known her Suits cross Gabriel Macht for almost 28 years. They first met at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in 1993. Rafferty attended Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry on May 19, 2018, at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

CAREER
Sarah made her acting debut in 1998 with the television film Trinity. Sarah has been in a variety of films and television series since her debut appearance on the big screen. As a result, her life has revolved around the screen, whether through movies or television series. Her following roles were in the television shows Law & Order and ‘Walker, Texas Ranger.’
