Storyline – India Today claims that Alia Bhatt would portray a girl from a middle-class background and Ranveer Singh will play a lad from a wealthy family. An insider with knowledge of the project has said, “Alia portrays a girl from the middle class, whereas Ranveer comes from a wealthy family. He lives in a luxurious mansion in Gurgaon as the waris of Dhanlaxmi Enterprises, in contrast to Rani’s drab fort. The plot revolves around a wealthy man’s infatuation with a middle-class woman, despite the disapproval of the latter’s family.”

Shooting Places – The day of August 20, 2021 marked the beginning of principal filming for the film. The first schedule was held in Mumbai, and then in September of 2021, Singh and Bhatt travelled to Moscow to record a music video there with Bhatt. In October 2021, second schedule begins in Delhi.
