Ranveer Singh put in an extraordinary amount of effort for the climax scene of the film ‘Dhurendhar 2’ an effort that is truly astonishing. According to reports, he filmed while wearing a leather jacket and a wig amidst scorching temperatures of 47-48 degrees Celsius. This information was shared by the film’s makeup and prosthetics artist, Karandeep Singh. He shared that this scene took about 15–20 days to rehearse and shoot, and the extreme heat made things really tough for the entire team. Working in extreme heat was very tough, but the team pushed through. In an open, shade-less area near Ludhiana, Ranveer performed intense action scenes in heavy clothes and even jumped on burning containers.
The heat was so intense that even eating became hard for the team. Fans and AC didn’t help much, and Ranveer also had to wear a wig, which felt like a woolen cap in that weather. Still, he remained calm and fully focused on his work throughout the shoot.
The scale and intensity of the scene are further underscored by the fact that a full bucket of fake blood (used as a prop) was consumed over the course of just one week of filming.
