The film’s storyline is set during the 1960s, during the time of religious persecution in East Pakistan. It depicts the life of Nimai, a former freedom fighter who flees with his family to Tripura after his daughter goes missing.
There, while starting a new life among a tribal community, he faces challenges such as love, identity, and rising ethnic tensions. In his search for belonging and security, Nimai endures grief, regret, and the pain of leaving home again.
