Storyline – The word “Pippa” refers to an empty tin of ghee that floated effortlessly over water and was used to refer to the great Russian amphibious war tank the PT-76, which was utilised in this conflict and dubbed “Pippa” in Punjabi slang. The PT-76 was deployed in this combat. Mehta and India both came of age during the course of the film as they faced the challenge of proving themselves on the battlefield during a war that was fought for the freedom of another nation.

It was Mehta’s ability to effectively lead his troops to victory in this battle that ultimately paved the road for India’s ultimate triumph. This battle, which took place at Garibpur, was the first time India invaded and occupied the land of an adversary, which eventually led to the establishment of Bangladesh.
