Nicholas Jerry Jonas was born on 16 September 1992 to Paul Kevin Jonas, a songwriter, musician, and former ordained minister at an Assemblies of God church and Denise, a former sign language teacher and singer. He has three siblings, two elder brothers named Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas and a younger brother named Frankie Jonas. Nick Jonas was raised in Wycoff, New Jersey, and he was homeschooled by his mother. At the age of seven, he started performing on Broadway. He portrayed characters like Tiny Tim, Chip Potts, Little Jake, Gavroche and many others.

Nick Jonas started his music career by writing ‘Joy to the world; with his father while performing in ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
