The two countries have recently participated in several high-level talks to strengthen their bilateral relations after the relations between Nepal and India have come to an end in the past few months.
Meanwhile there has been another pleasant news reflecting the strength of India-Nepal relations that the two countries have agreed to form a joint trade forum. In the meeting of the India-Nepal Inter-Governmental Committee on Trade and Transit it has been decided to set up a forum to represent private sectors from both sides.
The Commerce Secretary level meeting held after two years reviewed the progress made on trade and commerce issues between the two countries. The decision was taken at the virtual meeting held in the presence of Indian Commerce Secretary Anoop Wadhawan and Nepal’s Commerce and Supplies Secretary Baikunth Aryal.
