EARLY LIFE
Nagma was born on24 January 1992 into a middle-class Muslim family in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the family’s first child and has one younger brother, Mohammad Ali Mirajkar, who is seven years younger than her. His father, Ayaz Mirajkar and her mother, Noori Mirajkar, are both very supportive in terms of her pursuing her own dreams. She did her schooling at St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai. She holds master’s degrees in business administration and commerce (M.Com and MBA, respectively) and a specialization in marketing. Additionally, Nagma received a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM).
CAREER
In 2013, Mirajkar started her online career as a fashion and style blogger for her website “Oh My Gorg!”. Nagma gained massive popularity for posting dances, lip-syncs, comedies, and other music videos to the platform. She also became the official TikTok representative of India. In 2018, she appeared in an advertisement for Jaguar Lighting Advertising along with famous Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. Because of her popularity among the youth Tiktok, she was offered many music videos. In 2019 she was seen in Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar’s single “Kuch Kuch”, along with other Tiktok stars. She has also collaborated with and promoted the product of famous brands such as “Maybelline New York”, “Amazon”, “Avon”, “Skybags”, “Myntra”, “Reliance Jewels”, and many more. She also acted as an artist in Asees Kaur’s music album “Kisi Aur Naam”. She started her Youtube channel on 16 September 2019. She had approximately 1.5 Million subscribers on her Youtube channel as of November 2022.
