In Bangladesh the Bangabandhu T20 Cup is being played all the major cricketers of the country are participating in the tournament. Four of the top five teams have reached the playoff after 20 tough matches. The eliminator match between Beximco Dhaka and Fortune Barishal was played in Dhaka on Monday. Beximco Dhaka command is in the hands of Bangladesh star wicketkeeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim. During the match Mushfiqur was so angry that he stopped slapping his fellow player.
Beximco Dhaka recorded the victory but more than the victory, Mushfiqur Rahim’s anger is being discussed. Mushfiqur’s angry video is going viral on social media.
The incident took place in the 17th over of the second innings of the match. Fortune Barishal needed 45 runs on 19 balls and five wickets were left in the team’s account. Afif Hussain was playing well. There was a collision between Mushfiqur and fielder Nasum Ahmad while taking catch. After which Mushfiqur was seen to be angry on the fielder.
At one point, Mushfiqur would slap him but he stopped. It was a very important wicket for the team. The rest of the team then began to pacify Mushfiqur.
