Mercedes F1 driver Lewis Hamilton has been tested positive for the covid-19 and is also out of the Saikir Grand Prix in Bahrain this weekend.
Sergio Perez says that “he woke up on Monday morning with mild symptoms and was informed at the same time that a person in contact with him in Bahrain was tested positive. So Lewis did another test and was found positive.”
Hamilton had won the Bahrain Grand Prix which got famous due to accidents, where Romain Grosjean survived after a fire and explosion in his car.
Last month, the British driver equaled Ferrari’s legendary driver Michael Schumacher’s record seven titles, and became the most successful driver in the history of the game. Mercedes has not yet announced any other driver in place of Lewis.
