Kesari Veer Storyline
The film shows the story of Hamirji Gohil, a brave warrior from Arthilan village in Gujarat in the late 14th century. Hamirji sacrifices his life to protect his religion. At that time, Zafar Khan, the ruler of the Tughlaq Empire, was expanding his rule in Gujarat. He had ordered to forcefully impose Islam and destroy temples.
Hamirji stands up against this injustice and tries to unite the kings of Gujarat, but no one is ready to help him. Still not losing courage, he reaches Somnath temple on the day of Mahashivratri and organizes the Hindu army. Then Rasool Khan suddenly attacks, but Hamirji defeats him with his bravery. Seeing this, Zafar Khan gets angry and orders to demolish all the temples, starting with Somnath Temple.
Hamirji faces the massive Tughlaq army with only 200 soldiers. Vegadabhil also assists him, but the enemy is outnumbered. Still, Hamirji fights till his last breath and ensures that Somnath temple and the faith of Hinduism remain unshakable.
