EARLY LIFE
She grew up watching the work of Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit. She considers them her inspiration and has been passionate about acting since childhood. She studied at the Cathedral and John Connon School and later studied at Sophia college.
CAREER
In 1991, at 17, she debuted in Hindi cinema with the movie Prem Qaidi. During her initial years of acting, she gave continuous flops. The first hit was by Raja Babu, opposite Govinda. Next, Suhaag and Gopi Kishan were also hit. Another hit she gave was Coolie No. 1. Some of her flop movies at the box office are Police Officer, Jaagruti, Nishchaiy, Aatish, Andaz, Deedar, Sapne Sajan Ke, and Durarara. Her most successful film was Raja Hindustani.
