Now in the meantime, Honey Singh has given an interview, in which he is seen talking about his old songs. Let’s know what the whole thing is, Honey says, the song ‘Blue hai paani-paani’ from the film ‘Yaariyan’ was prepared in just two hours. The singer said- ‘The most rubbish song I have written till date is ‘Blue hai paani paani’… Is this a song? Today Blue hai paani paani and Dil bhi sunny sunny… what kind of song is this, rubbish. To tell you the truth, look at all the songs, do they have any rhyme? Do they have any sense?’
Honey further says, ‘I have another song… ‘Lungi Dance Lungi Dance’. What is this, I don’t know… ‘Party All Night’ – I don’t know what I was doing. I don’t know why people were pampering me. When I have to perform on those songs today, I laugh at myself that people are still crazy, still dancing… even now.’
Even today, revenue comes from these songs because these songs are still being played. The singer said that these songs just had a good sound and new things, absurd things, got to hear something quirky, that’s why people liked them.’
