Guru Nanak Jahaz Storyline
In 1914, Mewa Singh Lopoke was inspired by revolutionary thinking due to the apartheid prevailing in Canada. At the same time, visionary Sikh merchant Gurdit Singh set out on a daring voyage with 375 passengers on the Guru Nanak Ship (also known as Komagatamaru) to protest Canada’s draconian Direct Travel law and shatter the dreams of immigrants.

Costume design in India was done by Shreya Singh, while in Canada, it was handled by Raman Mann.
