EARLY LIFE :
Gautham Karthik was born on Tuesday, 12 September 1989, in Madras, Tamil Nadu. Gautham studied at Herbon International School, Ooty, Tamil Nadu, a boarding school. Gautham, during an interview, talked about his experience learning in a boarding school.
After completing his schooling in 2008, Gautham enrolled at Chris University, Bangalore (now Bengaluru), where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Psychology, and English.Gautham belongs to a South Indian family in Tamil Nadu. Gautham Karthik’s father, Karthik Muthuraman, is a famous actor in the Tamil entertainment industry.Gautham’s mother, Ragini Karthik, is a Kollywood actress.Gautham has a younger brother named Ghayn Karthik.Gautham Karthik follows Hinduism.
CAREER :
In 2013, Gautham Karthik made his acting debut with Mani Ratnam’s film Kadal in which he played the lead role of Thomas; however, the Tamil film Kadal flopped.
In 2014, Gautham worked on the Tamil film Yennamo Yedho, a remake of the Telugu film Ala Modalaindi (2011). Subsequently, he has appeared in various Tamil films like Rangoon (2015), Indrajith (2017), Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren (2018), Anandham Vilayadum Veedu (2021), and Yuta Satham (2022).

Before he engaged Manjima Mohan, he was dating her.
On 28 November 2022, Gautham Karthik married his longtime girlfriend, Manjima Mohan, a Tamil actress. Gautham and Manjima met in 2019 while filming the Tamil film Devrattam. Later, they started dating each other.
