This is a silent black comedy film that explores a man’s desperate need for money and its impact on others. The story revolves around Mahadev, a young and unemployed graduate, who tries to find a job by any means necessary, and in the process, encounters a businessman and a petty thief. The film uses silence very effectively. Although it’s a fictional story, all the characters feel very real and believable, and the cat-and-mouse game between them generates both suspense and humor. Gandhi Talks aims to tell a funny, thrilling, and thought-provoking story with minimal dialogue.
