Freedom Storyline
In 1991, some refugees were imprisoned in the Vellore Fort Jail without any reason. They were falsely accused in a major murder case. Despite being proven innocent, many remained imprisoned until 1995. That same year, 43 of them planned a daring escape from the jail. Some were recaptured, while others fled abroad in search of freedom.
