HAZARIBAGH: On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the “Fit India Plogging Run” was organized by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, organized under the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs
The program was attended by Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal, North Chotanagpur Division Commissioner Arvid Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Bhuneshwar Pratap Singh, Municipal Commissioner Kamleshwar Prasad Singh, Deputy Development Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav, Mayor Roshni Tirkey, Deputy Superintendent Rajkumar Lal, Nazrat Deputy Collector David Balihar, District Sports Officer Umesh Kumar Apart from Sinha, many dignitaries participated. The event was organized from Trimurti Chowk to Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial located at the lake. Boys and girls of the Residential Football Sports Training Center, Hockey Day Boarding Sports Training Center participated in it.
All the players cleaned the road from Trimurti Chowk to Mahatma Gandhi Memorial by picking up the plastic waste lying on the way. All the officials and players present in the program took oath of cleanliness.
