The much-awaited trailer of Dulquer Salmaan’s dramatic thriller Lucky Baskhar was released on Monday, October 21. The film is written and directed by Venky Atluri and produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainment, Fortune Four Cinema and Srikara Studios.
Baskhar, played by Dulquer Salmaan, is shown as a banker of the fictitious Magadh Bank. He is shown living a life that many Indians are bored of. One such repetitive life (Baskhar) will be seen by Salman, who gets tired of his routine of handling other people’s money. When Baskhar comes across a large sum of money, things take an unexpected turn, creating a mystery as to how he got it. Actress Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the woman Baskhar loves, but her role in his life is unclear. With its beautiful visuals and vintage look, the film promises to be more than just a tale of luck and money.
Lucky Baskhar will release in theatres on October 31 in multiple languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi.
