Storyline – The second instalment of the Dream Girl series will, as its predecessor, be a comedy packed with many humorous moments. The Dream Girl 2 picks up immediately after the events of the Dream Girl (2019). Karam, portrayed by Ayushmann Khurrana, comes from a tiny village and tries to live a serious life in Mathura. There, he meets Pari, played by Ananya Panday, and falls in love with her, but life keeps getting in the way. Dream Girl 2 follows Karam’s journey as he… Karam is transformed into Pooja as a result of a series of circumstances, which adds even more disorder to his already disorganised existence.

Facts – Ayushmann and the producers of Dream Girl 2 poke fun at the current “boycott” social media movement in the trailer for the film. The video has a person saying, “Bollywood ko nazar lag gyi hai.” (Evil stares down at Bollywood.) He told Ayushmann to go to Mathura, and Ayushmann said, “Haan bhai, DVD pe chala raha hoon fir bhi nhi chal rahi.” I’m in Mathura because, (yes brother), I’ve tried watching a movie on DVD and it hasn’t worked. As Ayushmann transforms into his Dream Girl avatar, the rest of the ensemble is presented.
