BJP National President Amit Shah has arrived in Kolkata to explain the BJP’s stand on the NRC and Article 370 issue. Amit Shah also thanked the contribution of the people of Bengal in the Lok Sabha elections.

KOLKATA: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today made it clear that the Indian government will not force any Hindu, Jain and Christian refugees to leave the country. Accusing the NRC of being misled by state CM Mamata Banerjee, Shah said that all Hindu and Jain refugees who have come to the country will be given citizenship of India. He also said that no Hindu refugee will be allowed to leave the country and will not allow any intruder to stay in the country.
BJP’s National President Amit Shah reached Kolkata on Tuesday to bring public awareness on NCR and Article 370. He said, ‘People of Bengal were misled on NRC. I have come to tell the truth to the people of Bengal. All Hindu refugees will be given Indian citizenship. The Modi government will soon introduce Citizenship Amendment Bill. After this, every refugee will get the same rights as me. Not a single intruder will be allowed to stay in the country. The BJP government is going to give every refugee the right to become Prime Minister.

On Vasant Panchami, no one will be able to stop Vasant Panchami because you have given 18 seats to the Bharatiya Janata Party

Earlier Amit Shah said, ‘Modi has fulfilled the dream of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee by removing Article 370. The son of Bengal, Mukherjee had raised the slogan on the soil of Kashmir, there will not be two heads, two marks in a country. He gave a slogan, One Mark, One Law And One Head.
Thanking to the people of Bengal for the contribution in the Lok Sabha elections, Amit Shah said, ‘The BJP for the first time under the leadership of PM crossed the 300 mark for the second time in the country . The people of Bengal contribute the most to this. If the people had not changed inside West Bengal, the BJP would not have been able to cross 300 seats. I want to assure that by winning 18 seats, they desire for change, the BJP government is definitely going to be formed in Bengal next time too. ‘
