At a promotional event of “Bhoot Bangla,” Akshay Kumar’s fans got so excited that the situation turned risky. On Friday, at Gaur City Mall in Greater Noida, a huge crowd gathered to see him along with his co-stars Rajpal Yadav and Wamiqa Gabbi. Within a short time, the crowd became difficult to control and the atmosphere turned chaotic.
In the viral videos, some fans were seen climbing on the escalator railings just to get a better view, while barricades on the ground floor broke and people started pushing each other. The situation could have led to a serious accident. This showed the safety was weak.
After the videos went viral, many people were upset and called it irresponsible. They said fan safety should come first, while Akshay Kumar stayed calm and interacted with fans.
“Bhoot Bangla” releases on April 17, but this incident raises a simple question should safety be ignored for stardom?
