Chhattisgarh: In Bijapur, Chhattisgarh, on Friday evening, an encounter between soldiers and Naxalites took place again. In this encounter, the soldiers have killed a Naxalite. A huge gun has been recovered by the soldiers from the dead body of the slain Naxalites. The Naxalite who was killed, was the Militia commander. Seeing the soldiers falling heavily, the remaining Naxalites escaped under the cover of the forest. At present, search operation of soldiers is still going on in the area. The encounter has been confirmed by Bijapur SP Divyang Patel.
According to the information, CRPF 229 battalion and district police personnel went out on a search on Friday evening. Meanwhile, Naxalites ambushed in the forests of Tekmetla of Usur police station area and fired on them. The soldiers also responded to this sudden firing. In this encounter which lasted for about half an hour, the soldiers killed a Naxalite. It is being told that more than 20 Naxalites were ambushed.
