Storyline – Chappad Phaad Ke is a comedic examination of the consumerism and hypocrisy that dominate our daily life. It is set against the backdrop of a typical Maharashtrian middle-class family. The Phadke family plays a significant role in the narrative’s progression of events. Sharad Gupchup is the head of the Gupchup family alongside his uncomplicated wife Vaishali and their two small children, Shubham and Ketaki. Sharad is a stern disciplinarian and a morally upright guy. Vaishali and Ketaki’s eldest child is the matriarch of the family.
The Gupchup family is driven to endure a life of silent desperation, even though they are unable to live up to the lofty moral standards that Sharad strongly upholds. When the family discovers a suitcase containing unclaimed cash in the amount of crores, their lives are thrown into an ethicalcrisis, and they must determine what to do with the money. They must determine how the family’s goals and wants in the world compare with what they think to be the morally correct course of action.
