Bollywood director Dushyant Pratap Singh constantly remains in the headlines due to his projects. Recently, during an interview, told him that he has 8 project lineups. Which includes films like Zindagi Shatranj , Trahimam, Dark Cheers, Ek Thi Rukma, Manto Ki Kahani besides some other web series and music videos.
Talking about the boycott trend in the Bollywood industry, he said that in fact the bigwigs of Bollywood have changed the way of promoting cinema. This is the result of that, in today’s era, big actors and filmmakers have started promoting with the help of social media influencers and this is the result of that. An industry has emerged to ruin Bollywood. These tweets and trollers get the big amount. One person handles one hundred accounts in which agencies are also involved. Everyone knows this, there is nothing new in this. This is completely artificial and an attempt is being made to make noise under the conspiracy. Apart from this, filmmakers need to pay more attention to your concept.
Dushyant said that at present it is more necessary to work on good concepts. Recently, the low budget film Kashmir Files collects crores of rupees, while on the other hand the condition of films like Rakshabandhan, Lal Singh Chaddha is known to all. Many Bollywood celebrities (though I would not like to name anyone here) due to their tantrums and demands, not only give big to the budget of the film but also the film does not come out properly.
Talking about the OTT platform in the cinema industry, Dushyant Pratap Singh said that the real joy of cinema is in the 35MM screen. The fun of enjoying cinema together with 200 people is something else. Though I am not opposed to OTT platform, but theater release is a matter of more prestige for any cinema.
