Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief Sukhbir Singh Badal, who recently left the NDA government on new agricultural laws has made a scathing attack on the BJP on Tuesday. Badal, terming the BJP as a real Tukde-Tukde gang alleged that the party in Punjab was instigating Hindus against Sikhs.
Sukhbir Singh Badal asked his old colleague BJP to accept the farmers words by abandoning their arrogant attitude on agricultural laws. Badal said that the one who speaks in favour of the central government they are considered Desh Bhakta and who speaks against the government is called as Tukde-Tukde Gang.
Shiromani Akali Dal had left the NDA on the issue of new agricultural laws a few months ago. The SAD leader and minister in the central government Harsimrat Singh Badal also resigned from the cabinet. Harsimrat Kaur Badal was the only representative of Akali Dal in the Modi government and Akali Dal was also the oldest ally party of BJP.
It may be mentioned that several farmers organizations have been demonstrating for the last about three weeks at several places near Delhi against central agricultural laws. They are demanding withdrawal of these laws. Several rounds of talks with the government have been inconclusive. The Government had proposed to the farmers to make several amendments to the agricultural laws which the farmers refused to accept.
BJP is the real #TukdeTukdeGang in the country. It has smashed national unity to pieces, shamelessly inciting Hindus against Muslims & now desperate setting peace loving Punjabi Hindus against their Sikh brethren esp #farmers. They're pushing patriotic Punjab into communal flames. pic.twitter.com/7adwVmoDgj
