Talking about the film’s storyline, Neil Roy is a farmhand in Kolkata who single-handedly raises his six-year-old daughter, Bini. One day, Bini suddenly faints at school, and a diagnosis reveals she has a serious illness and very little time left. To save his daughter, Neil spends all his savings and tries every possible treatment, but to no avail.
Finally, he accepts the truth and spends the rest of his days with Bini in her favorite place, the field behind their house. Their story reaches people and garners everyone’s sympathy. After Bini’s passing, Neil is left with only her memories, and he lives his life with deep sorrow.
