Taylor Polidore Williams and Crystal Stewart star in Tyler Perry’s new soap opera Beauty in Black, now available on Netflix. Both women play completely different characters whose lives intersect in surprising ways. Perry created the series as part of a deal with Netflix in which he agreed to write, direct and produce films and TV shows. “Beauty in Black” is the industry’s latest project. The first part of the series will be released on October 24 and will consist of 16 hours of episodes.
Story
The story is set in Atlanta. Beauty in Black is based on the lives of two women who come from very different backgrounds. Polidore Williams plays the role of Kimmy, who struggles a lot after her mother throws her out of the house. Crystal Stewart plays the role of Mallory, who is a successful woman and runs her own business. Despite so many differences, how their lives come together in a way that none of them would have imagined. Now to see what happens, you will have to watch the series.
