About – The epic Ramayana will serve as the inspiration for the upcoming Indian Hindu mythological film Adipurush. Om Raut helms the movie, which he also produced alongside T-Series Films and Retrophiles. Movie stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh; it was filmed in both Hindi and Telugu at the same time. Adipurush is one of the most costly Indian films ever made, costing a whopping 500 crore (about US$63 million).

Storyline – The movie story is based on the Ramayan.
Development – On August 18, 2020, a promotional poster was used to make the announcement about the adaption of the Hindu epic Ramayana known as Adipurush. Om Raut, who previously directed the historical drama Tanhaji, is in charge of the film’s direction, and Prabhas plays the role of Lord Rama (2020).
Om Raut was inspired to adapt the ancient Indian epic Ramayana into a film utilising contemporary filmmaking techniques after watching the Japanese film Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama, which was released in 1996. In the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown in India, Raut penned the script. Almost immediately, Prabhas expressed interest in the proposal, and his production company, T-Series Films, expressed interest in working on the project.
